The Playground Committee of Athena Home and School  will be holding a meeting on Wednesday, November 18th at 6:30 pm at the school.  All are welcome to attend.

Athena Consolidated School's first Home and School meeting of the year will be held tonight (Monday, September 14th) in the Athena Library at 6:30.  New members are encouraged to attend!

Athena Home and School has entered the Kraft Project Play competition to support the building of a new playground at our school. Check out our profile here: http://kraftprojectplay.com/en/nominations/profile/athena-consolidated-school-1/

If successful, it would mean we would receive $250,000 to build a new playground for the children of Athena Consolidated School and the greater community.

But, in order to make the TOP 4 on July 26th, we need your help. To get into the top 4, we need to show Kraft that our community supports this project and how much we all care about our school.

Bingo Raises $2,800 for the playground!

Thank you to all who came Thursday night, June 11^th, to play bingo and support the Playground Initiative. A big thank you to Eric Ferrish of the Summerside Kinsmen Club, as well as Georgia and Natalie from Scotiabank for coming out to lend hand.

Including some matched funds from Scotiabank and a $500 donation from the Kinsmen, the event raised over $2,800 for the playground!

Congratulations to all of the night’s winners and thank you to all of the 100 people that came out to support.

Thank you to all who supported our BBQ and 50/50 at the Athena Drive 4UR School event this past weekend. With your help we raised nearly $500 for our playground


Our next event is June 11th - Prize Bingo at Athena.  Details for card purchase will be posted soon.
